Skirts

Ladie´s skirt - blueprint 1

This skirt is made of a material called blueprint. It is originally white linen, which is stamped and printed by hand with wax to form a pattern. It is then dyed blue, the wax is removed and the beautiful ornaments appear. The blueprint is produced in a small factory in Moravia (the east region of the Czech Rpublic). Their patterns are very old and typically Czech. The skirt is 4 metres wide (12 feet), in the waist it is puckered to handmade pleats and inserted into the belt.

The size of the waist can be extended or reduced thanks to an overlap. In the lower part, the skirt is lined with a red cloth which also creates the edging of the skirt. When moving the red lining sticks out and it looks very joyful. The final impression is highlighted by a red stripe placed 10 cm (4 inches) above the lower ending of the skirt.

Ladie´s skirt - blueprint 2

This skirt is made of the same material but it differs in design. In the upper part it has 4 big goffers, that give to the hips an attractive shape and under the hips it is broadened, so that it looks very rich.

The combination of checks and spots, which follow each other, is also very original. The pictures in the checks are very simple and joyful, so the skirt has an etheral appearance. When ordering this skirt, it is necessary to provide one extra measurement measured 5 cm below the waist.

Ladie´s skirt - blueprint 3

It is made of the same material again, but the upper part of the skirt is shaped with lots of tucks, which gives a perfect shape to the figure and makes a very slim impression. Under the tucks, the skirt is broadened thanks to many flounces which alternate blue colour with the blueprint design. All the changeovers are adorned by a thin red ribbon. The skirt is suitable for all types of figures and is very dressy.

Ladie´s skirt - blueprint 4

Blueprint skirt made of 6 pieces, printed with folk motives. Each stamp is hand made and is printed by hand on each skirt. Every skirt is original, because it has different pictures or different arrangements of pictures. To the skirt belongs a belt, which can be tied on waist or it is possible to wear it without belt. The skirt has an elasticated waist.

Ladie´s skirt - blueprint 5

Blueprint skirt made of 49 pieces. Because of the ingenious design it makes very nice effects when moving. Each skirt has its own picture, which is repeated in the lower part of the skirt and is also the main feature on the belt, which continues in the waist. The skirt has an elasticated waist; therefore there should not be any problem with the sizes.

Folk dance footwear

Dance boots

These dance boots are characteristic for most countries of Central and Eastern Europe. They were used not only in Bohemia and Moravia but also in Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. They are suitable for dancers as well as for musicians, singers and all the people who are interested in folk.

The boots are made of soft black leather which allows the foot to move naturally. The soles are made of several layers which endure outdoor wearing. Men's boots are higher and not high-heeled. Women's boots are narrowed slightly at the tip and are high-heeled.
