Trousers - "kalhoty"They are made of a brown cloth, which is decorated with characteric design. We no longer use the original cloth because many people have sensitive skin these days and the original cloth was very harsh. Under the knees they are adorned by strips of leather and the upper part has a very typical fastening, used in the whole of Bohemia.
Waistcoat is green and it is the most decorated component of the costume. It is worn very short and decorated with a row of buttons. The pockets are adorned in the same way. The edgings are stiffened and welted with a red patch.

It is made from white linen and adornments of various types embroidered on canvas are used.
The shoulders are stiffened and sewed through while the long sleeves are ended by wristbands with buttons.
Belt - "opasek"It is a leather belt and it represents the dominant feature of the costume. It is very wide and is fastened up on the hip in a very ingenious way. In front it is adorned by a leather oval, which is covered with engraved ornaments. A small pocket for carrying of various sundries, money etc is attached.
Boots are of standard Central European type. See the folk dance footwear section for more details.

Underskirt is tailored from white cotton and also puckered to pleats at the waist, similarly as the skirt. The foot of the skirt is adorned by lace and its purpose is to lift the upper skirt.
Blouse - "halenka"It is tailored from white canvas and adorned on the sleeves and around the neck. On the shoulders it is slightly stiffened to keep the shape and not to slip back. As for the style, it is a perfect copy of old preserved blouses from Litomysl.
The blouse comes in two kinds - standard and authentic. The authentic blouse (on the pictures below) is decorated by the original technique called "sitovani". The standard blouse is of the same material and cut, but the decorations are replaced with cotton laces.
This part of the costume really stands out as for the style. It is tailored from traditional materials and patterns. It has a very typical daedal colour binding on the back and in front. There are white canvas pockets provided at the bottom of the waistcoat. They can be filled with padding if needed. When the woman is very slim, the pockets are filled, so that the costume would hold up the important proportions between hips and waist.

A scarf is worn under the bodice on the shoulders, so that the fringe can be visible. This part of the costume is not worn all the time, it depends on each woman.
Hair decoration 1 - "stuha do vlasů"This hair decoration was worn only by single girls in the past. It is wound around a twisted plait and it magically intensifies the impression of the costume.
Šata - a head adornment for married women - is actually a strip of cloth, which is wrinkled at the back side of the head and then bound up, so that the long and wide endings flow down on the back. After binding up, šata looks like a cap, which is richly white embroidered. The flowing endings are embroidered too.
